I’m so excited to finally share my newest original song, “Maybe It Is.” I cowrote this song with two of my amazing friends and collaborators, Leslie Sachter and Brett Boyett.

For years, many of you have heard me sing songs from Broadway, film, and the American songbook, which I’ve always loved. But after moving to Nashville, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to explore my own songwriting and share a different, more personal part of my artistry. This song is a reflection on those beautiful moments in life where everything just clicks into place. It’s about that feeling of wonder and gratitude when something you’ve been hoping for, or even dreaming of, finally shows up right in front of you.

Brett, Leslie, and I wanted to capture that sensation—when the seemingly impossible feels real, when you’ve “swallowed a star,” and when all of your hopes and dreams feel suddenly, beautifully, and wonderfully revealed. I hope “Maybe It Is” resonates with you and reminds you to lean into those moments of pure joy and wonder.
